Austria Vienna has reportedly received the next million-euro offer for Abubakr Barry. A team from Eastern Europe is said to be interested in the 25-year-old midfielder and has made an offer of around four million euros. The identity of the interested club is not clear. However, a final decision has not yet been made, according to Sky. Another club, FC Red Bull Salzburg, is also vying for the services of the Austria player. It is expected that the Bulls will make another offer. Barry was transferred to Austria Vienna from Israeli second-division club Bnei Yehuda in the summer of 2024 and has become a regular in the midfield of the Violettes. In total, he has played 70 games for the Viennese, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. He still has a contract with the Violettes until 2027.
